Evans Cooling 2017 Recap: It Was a Big Year for Evans!

It's been a busy year at Evans! We attended 12 NHRA events and numerous Supercross, Jeep, and other events. Evans also became a feature level sponsor of the GNCC Racing Series, and attended 11 GNCC Racing events during the year. Here's a recap of all the exciting news and events from 2017:

Evans-Sponsored Racers Lead the Pack

Evans-sponsored racers had a great year, with Micah Huss and Ryan Sottosanti taking third place in the 2017 Iron Dog Race, Evans-sponsored racers claiming eight out of nine podium spots in the premier classes of the GNCC off-road series, and Jared Mees (right)  winning the American Flat Track Twins Class Championship.

Evans Waterless Coolants Pass ASTM Test

Evans waterless coolants now officially conform to new American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) standards for non-aqueous coolants. The new specifications and testing methods will provide assurance to end users and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) that Evans products conform to the highest international standards for quality and performance.

Evans Cooling Partners with Car Museums

Evans now offers the Evans Museum Program to car museums that use Evans coolants to keep their classic, vintage and modern vehicles in prime condition. The American Muscle Car Museum was the first to join the program.

Evans Launches NHRA Contingency Program

The new Evans NHRA Contingency Program awards cash prizes to NHRA national event winners and runners up who participate in the program and meet certain criteria. 

Evans Welcomes New Employee Chris Sebas

Evans is thrilled to welcome Chris Sebas to the Evans Team. Chris joined Evans in November as a technical sales specialist.  He will focus on both the powersports and automobile markets, primarily in the northeast, but will be involved with nationwide sales as well. Sebas comes to Evans with extensive automotive industry experience, most recently as a sales representative at MTA Distributing and before that ten years as a Matco Tools Franchise owner. 

2017 Brings Exciting Updates to the Evans Website

The Evans Coolant website is better than ever! We made some key updates to the site in 2017, including:

  • A new forum page, where visitors can see answers to common questions about Evans products.
  • A new service bulletin page with important information about Evans usage,
  • More than a dozen new blog posts, including race reports, car care tips, and racer profiles. 

New Line of Indian Motorcycles Uses Evans Coolant

Fifty limited-edition, competition-only Indian Scout FTR750s will come off the factory line filled with Evans Powersports Waterless Coolant.

Evans was chosen for its proven ability to prevent boilover on the track and for its lifetime corrosion protection which preserves engines.
