Off-road champion Cameron Steele to run Evans Waterless Coolant

SUFFIELD, CT – Multi-time off-road champion and TV personality Cameron Steele is now running Evans Waterless Coolant in his JCR Honda 450x bike. After taking on the Rip to Cabo with Evans this spring, he’s now an Evans ambassador and will be putting Evans Waterless Coolant to the test at the Baja Beach Bash July 28-31 and then Rip the Rockies in August.

“I’m stoked to be part of the Evans team,” Steele said. “Racing across the 3-foot deep whoops in Baja at 90 mph in 100-degree desert heat is no joke. But when it gets hot, I say ‘bring it.’ Evans Waterless coolant helps avoid boilovers when breakdown is not an option. With Evans coolant, you can push engine temperatures higher than would be safe with regular antifreeze. This coolant performs just as well at 230 degrees F as it does at 190 degrees F to keep you running off-road when it counts.”

As a veteran off-roader and Baja 1000 winner, Steele logs about 10,000 miles a year taking his Honda down the Baja.

Evans Powersports Director John Light commented, “A boilover can end your chances of finishing, which is why we see more racers than ever using waterless coolant. Cameron’s winning attitude in powersports and off-road has made him a true champion. This new partnership connects our own commitment to the sport to his passion.

With a boiling point of 375°F, Evans Waterless Coolants will perform under extreme conditions, well past the failure point of water-based coolants. The high boiling point ensures that the coolant remains liquid at all times, enabling consistently effective cooling. Evans coolants’ high boiling point also avoids the formation of vapor and will not build pressure, relieving stress on the entire cooling system.
