Conversion fluid for an all engine flush

Evans Prep Fluid is a waterless cooling system flush engineered specifically to purge the cooling system of water-based antifreeze after draining and before installing new waterless coolant. Prep Fluid should be used when block drains are unavailable or cannot be removed. It is not a substitute for thoroughly draining the cooling system and related components. Prep Fluid is NOT intended to be a stand-alone operating coolant, but as a flush only.

Engine Types

For use with all engines being converted to any Evans waterless coolant, after draining 50-50 coolant from the cooling system.

Usage

Evans Prep Fluid is ready to use—no water required.

  • Hygroscopically absorbs water
  • Ensures all residual water is removed from the system
  • Ensures that Evans coolants will meet the water content limits and provide peak performance
  • Protects cooling system metals during flush

Features

Engineered specifically to purge the cooling system before installing new waterless coolant. Seeks out old coolant and water that remains after draining existing antifreeze/water mixture from an engine. Especially important to use when block drains are unavailable or cannot be removed, ensures that the final water content after installing Evans Waterless Coolant meets operating limits

The primary objective of installing Evans Waterless Coolant is to eliminate many problems associated with water in conventional water-based antifreeze, while increasing reliability and engine life.

PREP FLUID + HIGH PERFORMANCE

EVANS PREP FLUID INSTALLATION

An important part of a good installation is using Evans Prep Fluid. Prep Fluid is specifically formulated to purge remaining water-based antifreeze from the system after initial drain. Since certain parts of the cooling system might not drain completely by gravity, installing a scavenging fluid is the most practical method of removing all of the water-based antifreeze. The Prep Fluid is not formulated to chemically clean the engine of rust and scale, but the process of circulation and draining will help remove any loose sediment.
